I’m pleased to share that I just helped one of my first-time buyer clients buy this adorable one bedroom/one bathroom condominium at Potrero Court, otherwise known as 2250 24th St.  This was a sunny unit with western outlooks, a nicely remodeled kitchen, open floorplan & parking for one vehicle.  My buyer client, Gianpiero, was a young tech professional who commutes to Silicon Valley, and he wanted to be near the highways 101/280. We targeted the neighborhood of Potrero Hill and viewed all of the listings that came on the market in his price range.  We were able to secure this great place for him, although we did have to bid over the asking price in order to win a multiple-offer situation. Being a first-time buyer is intimidating enough without having the stress of a multiple offers, so I’m especially proud that Gianpiero was aggressive about getting what he wanted.  It’s a great starter property, and at $450K with 20% down and an excellent interest rate, his mortgage payment is less than what he had been spending in rent – and certainly I think that’s a happy ending, just in time for the Holidays!

And here’s some really sweet comments that Gianpiero made about working with me:

“I started looking for an apartment in San Francisco in August. After a month an and half my first realtor wasn’t able to suggest any places that matched my needs. I was about to give up when a very good friend of mine told me that he found a place thanks to the help of Rebecca. I immediately contacted her and I explained what were my needs. The first  selection of places that Rebecca sent to me had already many interesting options. My first offer for an apartment wasn’t successful but, another unit was free in the same building and with the experience of Rebecca I was able to win the bid and get that one. In only 2 months from meeting Rebecca I was able to get my first apartment!
It was my first time buying an apartment and Rebecca was great! She was explaining me all I needed to know and she was always available for answering more questions in a very clear way. I would definitely recommend Rebecca to my next friend that needs to buy a house and to anybody that need somebody very experienced, with great communication skills and professionalism!” – Gianpiero N., buyer
